Does it still exist? Currently the parking lot is an absolute mess due to the United Stadium construction. Gone are Midway Bowl, Walgreens, Rainbow, Pestle Vision to make way for the construction. The adjacent mall co raining Cub Food, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, etc...still functioning. Going to miss this little mall.
Pretty good selection of stores running along University Avenue... As a college student, going to Target and Great Clips are two of my most frequent destinations by the Midway Shopping Mall.
The city of St.Paul decided the community needs a Soccer field instead of the Mall.
No one I know is ever going to the place they're building now. The city definitely know how to disappoint the people that voted them in.

This place is thrash run down and full of ghetto people. The Pearle Vision is run by a bunch of ghetto black people and they screwed up my glasses including breaking two frames and sold me a really sharp edge pair of glasses. Stay away from these clowns. They will destroy your eyes and if not try to kill you. The damn N are just disgusting. The short little Asian manager chased me and a CL buyer out as if we were dogs. Peking Garden will spit in your seafood chow fun and poison your curry chicken so you'll have diahrea right away. T-Mobile is so ghetto it's like going to Africa or Mexico and the workers ate just disgusting. Its a run down shopping mall from the 70s. Montgomery Wards used to be t her 30 years ago. Rainbow foods just got demolished. Thrashes are everywhere. Take your chances.
Midway, midway, midway. We have a love hate relationship. There are several convenient stores in this area. The side that has payless, little Caesars, etc. Is a hoodrat hang out. There is an entire abandoned bank and lots of the stores are run down. The side of midway with Target and noodles and co are night and day compared to the other. Most of the stores have lackluster customer service. The Walgreens is the last of its kind being that its outdated and run down. Hopefully the soccer stadium will help fix the place up.
